Events

Special events play an important role in helping the Foundation raise awareness and funds to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. We encourage you to participate!

Attend an Event: Events benefiting the Foundation happen all year long! Visit our event calendar and Facebook page to see current and ongoing events. Save the date for our annual Walk For Wishes®, a spirited 2-mile walk and family-friendly festival of wishes on April 21st, 2012! You can start a team and help celebrate and raise funds in this fun-filled event. More details about this event will be available in September, 2011.

Host an Event: Special events can take so many different forms -- your creativity is your only limitation! Events can range from golf tournaments to talent shows, car washes to gala dinners, right down to a good old fashioned lemonade stand. If you have an idea you'd like to make happen, the first step is to review our guidelines. Once you've reviewed the guidelines and are ready to get started, contact us at getinvolved@wishocie.org and we'll get you the tools you need to make it happen!

Did you know?
The Make-A-Wish Foundation® will NEVER contact you via telephone or door to door solicitations to ask you for money. If you ever receive solicitation via phone or door to door from someone who claims they are from the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, please take down as much information as possible then contact us.
